The Anaether

I know I said I was gonna work on an animation of Semeon, but then I had way way more interest in working on this illustration.

I have 0 knowledge about avionics, and it’s probably the same for most of you viewing this image. So if it looks like Vas is fixing a thing, I guess that’s what they’re doing.

Maybe if I took more than a month on an illustration, it’d come out better. Well, I’d actually just improve the quality of my 1-week illustrations since I really don’t want to spend that much time on a given piece.

I have so much more to learn. Maybe someday I’ll stop feeling like I “just need to move on” every time I’m about to finish a painting. For now I’m prioritizing completion after much concerted effort.

I’m gonna try not to spoil too much, but Kaleb (just pronounced like “Caleb”) is the dude in the middle. He’s a Therian just like Semeon, and has a huge crush on Vas. Stuff is complicated.

Anyway, I feel like I have much more interest in getting back into comic pages now. But I do need to fulfill some obligations which I’m choosing to do this week, but maybe I’ll just push them off again or attempt to work simultaneously on comic pages and my obligations. It usually doesn’t work that well because I absolutely despise taking on too many tasks at once. I just don’t work that well when I’ve got more than like 2 things to do. I also tend to treat plans as guidelines unless I have very set appointments like scheduled video calls.

Anyway, I’ll just sort of play it by ear this week. I’ve put my Patreon activity on higher priority these days but maybe it’s just because it’s still my early days on the platform.
