Here’s a close-up of another one of my older illustrations of Vas.
Maybe other artists have an easier time creating good lighting with different blending modes on their layers, but it doesn’t work well for me. I have to paint that shit right in there to make it look right and it makes me really scared because it feels like I’m getting committed too fast. Maybe I’m doing it wrong.
